Some great sporting progress for Covenant Home! Sammy Otieno and Victor Oulo, two of our footballers have been selected to represent Kenya in a Youth Tournament in Malindi against teams from Italy including Juventus and AC Milan. They left for Malindi on the 25th of February. Our school team has been registered with Kenya Youth Football Association (KYFA) under Covenant Football Academy, we need to try and get some support to buy boots, balls and provide transport to and from fixtures as they will be playing in a league and will have to travel out to various destinations.

Tues, 11th Jan

Another of our boys; Mina Okello, has been given a scholarship by the Kenyan Government to go to University in May to do a Bachelor of Science. I am currently restructuring our Primary School and hope to get better results this year; it’s so great to be back. Our boys have started to play football and they were given some uniforms and balls by SOCKS of Canada, basically they need a bit of monetary support for transport to venues and paying for the grounds, if they could even get 100GBP a month it would be a blessing. I have bought a digital camera and will be taking lots of photos of the team and hopefully some trophies!
